Islands

There are 3 primary barrier islands off the coast of Savannah, Georgia:

• Whitemarsh Island
• Wilmington Island
• Tybee Island

Whitemarsh and Wilmington Island are the more densely populated islands with well developed subdivisions, several public schools, and significant retail and grocery infrastructure.  Residential real estate options are diverse ranging from condos and ranch homes, to contemporary subdivisions and waterfront estates.

Tybee Island is a laid-back beach town on the Atlantic Ocean with great opportunities for residential and investment real estate purchases.  Oceanfront condos, historic cottages, large vacation homes, and multi-unit properties are all available options on Tybee Island for use as a second home, vacation rental, or primary residence.
